Visionary hotel owner Susanne Kaufmann directs the tradition-rich multiple award-winning establishment in its 5th generation. Since opening in 1850, the family of the house has always sought to go with the times. Most recently, the building was carefully renovated inside and out by her brother, Oskar Leo Kaufmann, according to Susanne Kaufmann’s vision. The architect designed the furnishings and tasked regional craftsmen and furniture makers with production exclusively for the Hotel Post Bezau. The clear design of the rooms and suites features timber, leather, felt and hand-woven linen from the Bregenzerwald.

For its guests, the Hotel Post Bezau endeavours to create a place of relaxation and inspiration for healthy lifestyle. So that the right mix comes into play, the Hotel Post Bezau has united a comprehensive spa concept with an activity programme, gourmet delights and nature for the perfect holiday experience. They offer regional cuisine, prepared with vegetables from their own garden as well as a balanced TCM detox cuisine.

The Susanne Kaufmann spa is proud to feature the symbiosis of preventive treatments and regeneration, TCM detox and beauty treatments. Here the staff use only select products from Susanne Kaufmann’s “organic treats” line of care products, which were produced in the Bregenzerwald. Spread over numerous floors, the simple, yet beautiful bathhouse features numerous saunas, a steam bath, indoor pool, outdoor brine pool, an open-air whirlpool, two quiet rooms and a large sun deck.
They daily all-inclusive programme features muscle-strengthening cardio training, Pilates, yoga and much more. The hotel even has its own indoor tennis courts. Hikers and mountain bikers can head out into nature directly from the hotel doorstep. In winter, numerous ski resorts are located close by.
