Directions:
Follow L200 Bregenzerwaldstraße to Au. Turn off towards Damüls opposite the church. The car park is on the left at the community office (Gemeindeamt) after a few metres. The route starts across the road at Alpenhotel Post.

Brief description
A lovely and easy tour for beginners with interesting downhill ski runs and a wonderful panorama vista. The north-facing slopes and forest clearances are most enjoyable with powder or fresh snow. No wonder you usually meet other tourers on this route.
Route description
Climb up the slope of the surface lift to the mountain station and continue a few metres to the agricultural path that leads to the Bergkristallhütte hut. The trail is rolled for winter hikers and tobogganists. Follow the agricultural path until open slopes appear on the right. Climb to the right via the slopes, and then keeping slightly left, pass through a forest aisle. At the end of the steep climb stay to the right and continue straight up on the crest, which is not too steep for the most part, and on through the sparse forest to the summit of Lug.
