Bathing at rivers and lakes

Bathing at rivers and lakes

Natural rivers and lakes are so inviting for a refreshing swim on hot summer days.

But please be aware that you enter and bathe in the great outdoors at your own risk.

Bregenzerach

The Bregenzerach is around 67 kilometres long and flows into Lake Constance. Visitors can get to its banks from many places. The river even forms small ponds in some spots.

Subersach

The Subersach rises at an altitude of 1,700 metres. This river flows into the Bregenzerach south of Egg. It follows a sharp bend, its bank is accessible in some places.

Bödelesee

Wildly romantic and wonderfully natural: this little lake filled with moor water is a popular destination for swimming and a special experience of nature.
