Taking the public buses is always a good way to get around.
Free travel on the “Landbus Bregenzerwald” bus routes as far as Bregenz and Dornbirn (except the town buses) as far as Lech (except the blue hiking buses – Spullersee/Formarinsee), no. 46 from Hittisau to Balderschwang, with line 821 to Scheidegg or Weiler in the Allgäu, with the line 890 to Oberstaufen and the “Großes Walsertal Landbus” as far as Thüringen. Please note: Laguzalpe – toll surcharge.
Dogs
Dogs must be muzzled, on a lead and require a valid ticket.

Bregenzerwald bicycle bus

It’s easy to load your own bike or e-bike on to the trailer of the 8R1 bicycle bus and take it with you. This bus runs from Thursday to Sunday and leaves in the mornings from Bregenz Railway Station and terminates at the village square in Warth. your benefit Free travel for holders of the Guest-Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal, day ticket for bike carriage in accordance with the VVV terms.
