The ‘Museum unter freiem Himmel’ on Dörnelstraße, just behind the church in Lingenau, showcases those natural areas that are typical for the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park. The nature park, in which Lingenau is also located, takes its name from the term used for a special rock conglomerate: Nagelfluh. The open-air museum informs about the conglomerate at 12 stations as well as about continuous cover forests, hedges, meadows, forest inhabitants and much more. Those who wish can put their newly acquired knowledge to the test in a quiz.
