The atmosphere throughout is homely and tasteful. Most rooms feature a balcony and are furnished with oak wood and carpet floors. Thanks to our privileged and elevated position, the hotel is free of dust mites. In the kitchen, junior landlord Christoph Klauser cooks with passion and a pinch of craziness. The menu features fresh daily creations that rely on ingredients sourced from the region.
Elements & spirit
LUWAFFER (inspired by the elements of air, water, fire and earth) is the name of our newly created wellness area. Mountain air is omnipresent on the property. During their stay with us, guests can get up close and personal with the power of water. A special Kneipp pool will massage the feet, while steam from the steam bath with refresh the skin. Relax and unwind in the panorama sauna and then transition to the various quiet spaces or to the garden in summertime. At our “realm for the senses,” pamper yourself with Thalgo treatments.
Blossoms & snow
In summer, the hotel is a good starting point for hikes through the mountains of Damüls or for exploring the Bregenzerwald region. There are also great routes for mountain bikers and motorcyclists. In wintertime, the ski and freeriding slopes can be enjoyed from the hotel doorstep. The expansive Damüls-Mellau ski area is especially rich in snow thanks to its higher elevation.
