The local environment is always present in the interior. Conversely, the Werkraum Bregenzerwald’s programme is an integral part of the neighbourhood. This is the inspiration for the HOFgarten 800 project. This new outdoor dining area, which is located in front of the house, is a place to meet – enjoy – linger. The interplay of a wide variety of products by Werkraum members and partners form a cohesive whole. A wide range of products, combining regional handicraft culture and hospitality, breathes life into hospitality at the HOFgarten 800 and showcases the diversity and regional affiliation of the Werkraum’s members and partners. The objects shown here were all designed and produced by Werkraum members and partners.

The Werkraumhaus in Andelsbuch is a showcase for handicraft culture in the Bregenzerwald region. With its sweeping wooden roof and glass façade, the division between inside and outside is eliminated.

Xmal1 outdoor kitchen
When it comes to the outdoor kitchen, what does the X stand for? It stands for the length of the kitchen, which can be selected individually. The person who will cook in this kitchen in future is also free to select the materials. The only fixed component is the width of the kitchen, which is 1 metre.

From Tuesday to Saturday, the Werkraum Kitchen in the Werkraumhaus unites regional handicraft culture and hospitality under one roof! In addition, the food pantry in front of the house offers regional products from the local food trade for self-service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Handmade - made for home!
