Skiers and snowboarders will discover everything their hearts desire including seven large, snow-rich ski areas located in a 30 km radius. The neighbouring Hochlitten-Riefensberg ski area is just a 400 m stroll from the property. Those looking for fresh air beyond the slopes are free to walk the well-signposted winter hiking trails or local cross-country ski trails (16 km).
In summer
Numerous hikes start directly from the campsite, for example to Hagspiel, to the three-countries vantage point, to the lower and upper Fluh-Alpe mountain pastures to Hochlitten or to the Steinernes Tor area. The 18-hole Bregenzerwald Golfpark is just 2 km away. Culture lovers should head to the architecturally stimulating Juppenwerkstatt in Riefensberg where they can learn more about the time-consuming process of creating women’s Bregenzerwald Tracht clothing, which are black, finely pleated dresses.
