The Feuerstein family welcomes guests throughout the year. Campers, many of whom are long-term guests, appreciate the congenial atmosphere throughout and campers enjoy socialising and sharing with one another. The camping site is set in a tranquil area at the edge of the forest. The village centre of Lingenau and bathing areas on the Subersach stream are within walking distance.
In winter
Ski areas in the Bregenzerwald are easily accessible via ski buses and public buses and those who have ski passes can use these buses for free. The next closest areas are the Niedere-Andelsbuch-Bezau (9 km), Alberschwende (10 km), Hochhäderich Hittisau-Riefensberg (11 km) and the Egg-Schetteregg (11 km). The trails from Hittisau to Balderschwang (D) are an attractive option for cross-country skiers. There are additional trails at the Alpenarena on the Hochhäderich mountain. Numerous winter hiking trails lead through the forested mountains around Lingenau.
In summer
Lingenau is an excellent starting point for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling or bathing in the Subersach stream. Hiking trails in the nearby mountains start directly from the campsite. Those interested in the mountains of the Bregenzerwald and who have booked a stay of at least 3 nights, can profit from the Guest Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal. It is valid for cable cars, the buses, and for admission to the outdoor pools.
There are two tennis courts in the village. A hiking trail focusing on tufa formations is a special feature. Throughout Lingenau there are special listening stations where people can hear stories told by locals. Day guests are also welcome at the “Quellenbad” of the Vitalhotel Quellengarten with garden pool and sauna area.
