The shade of beautiful trees contributes to the relaxing atmosphere enjoyed at the 45 different sites. The village centre of Bezau with its shops, restaurants and cafés is about 10 to 15 minutes on foot.
In winter
The ski-bus stop is located just 300 m away and is ideal for ski and snowboard excursions. Those who have a ski pass can use the bus free of charge. Close by ski areas include Niedere-Andelsbuch-Bezau (3 km), Damüls-Mellau (5 km) and the Diedamskopf Au-Schoppernau (15 km). Warth-Schröcken is somewhat further away (35 km) but provides access to the Lech Zürs am Arlberg ski area (the largest contiguous ski area in Austria) via the “Auenfeld jet” connection.
In summer
The heated outdoor pool in Bezau is located right next door. Tip: With the “Guest Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal” (free for everyone who stays more than 3 nights in the Bregenzerwald), guests can access the swimming pool for free. There is also plenty to do for hikers in the area. Gaining elevation is easy thanks to the Bezau cable car. Numerous trails start from the Sonderdach midway station and the Baumgarten mountain station. Thanks to the excellent thermals, the mountain is very popular with para-gliders.
