Brief description
Klippern is a lovely, easy ski tour on south-facing slopes, with plenty of great views!
Route description
From the car park at the Lauterbachbrücke bridge just before Damüls, follow the trail to a small barn. From there, stay right to follow a forest aisle up to a plateau. Cross it to follow the route to the next slope and then continue along the alpine pasture trail to the beautifully situated Mittelargen Alpe mountain pasture (1,688m). Behind the hut, take a half-right upwards to the north into a large hollow. Keep right, climb the short steep slope to the summit slope and on to the summit.
