Follow the L200 Bregenzerwald Straße to Egg – turn-off to Schwarzenberg. Pass through Schwarzenberg towards Bödele to the Haldenlift car park. Or from Dornbirn to the Haldenlift car park via the Bödelestraße.

Brief description
This tour is perfectly suited for beginners or tourers who want to take a short tour in the afternoon. The Hochälpelekopf (1,464 m) summit offers a wonderful viewing point. The view ranges far over the Bregenzerwald region as far as Lake Constance. Why not stop at the Hochälpele mountain inn, just a few metres below the summit, for some refreshments.
Route description
From the Haldenlift car park, follow the slope straight uphill, past the wooden huts to a small underpass. Now ascend through the Bödele ski area. Follow backcountry ski run 2 to the Hochälpelekopf summit at 1,464 m.
