Franz Beer (1896 – 1979) was especially popular in the Tannberg area and often travelled with his camera around the town of Warth and the surrounding mountains. The exhibition shows around 70 of his pictures. The focuses of his documentary efforts were the changing landscape and the development of winter sports as well as farm work near the Hochtannberg pass.
The erstwhile Warth school house is interesting from an architectural perspective as well. First opened in 1992, the building was planned by Roland Gnaiger and is an early example of contemporary Vorarlberg timber architecture.
End of June to mid October 2017, every Wednesday from 4-6 pm (groups at any time upon request)
