A groomed winter hiking trail takes you from Au to the Bergkristall-Hütte mountain inn in the Vorsäß Boden summer settlement.
Length: 5 km
The peaceful, beautiful valley is surrounded by the towering limestone peaks of Zitterklapfen and Annalper Stecken. Refreshments are available from the Bergkristall-Hütte mountain inn. From there you can return to the valley on the same route by sledge.
