Certified Rafting Guide Jürgen Riegger has tuned his passion into a profession and in doing so, he’s gathered together a talented team of canyoning guides with countless other qualifications.
In tune with the school’s credo, the canyoning courses are all about having fun and Alpine passion. The participants of the school, which is located in Warth, learn the basics of various techniques. This includes understanding the materials, the right equipment and their use, i.e. various rope techniques as well as how to properly slide and jump and how to train for the sport. The course also covers weather and the ability to properly read topography.
During the canyoning tours for beginners, participants learn and practice abseiling, sliding and jumping.Meanwhile, during the advanced tours, the steepness of the terrain and the power of the water provides the necessary challenge.Hiking, swimming and the beauty of the white water trail between Lech am Arlberg and Steeg in the Lechtal valley are sure to leave a lasting impression on participants.
