Bregenzerwald Introduction to Ski Mountaineering

Ref BGW 008 - This package addresses both ski mountaineering novices and lovers of scenic ski tours

On easy downhill rides in the open country with short ascents you will learn how to ascend correctly on touring skis with skins, how to handle an avalanche rescue beacon, and how to safely ski downhill in different snow conditions. You will also get insight into snow and avalanche science.

Requirements:

Confident parallel skiing on-piste
Physical fitness for ascents of 2-3 hours

Minimum number of participants: 4 persons
