To the Highest Point
Braunarlspitze summit is the highest mountain of the Bregenzerwald area.
Starting from Schröcken a haul trail leads to Fellealpe pasture. From there a hiking trail leads to Fürggele, a pass to the Großwalsertal valley. From there an alpine path (sure-footedness and a good head for heights are required) leads to the summit, then to the idyllic Butensee lake. On Jägersteig path one gets back to the area of Fellealpe. Take the same way back to Schröcken.
