Backcountry skiing and free riding
For beginners and experts. Applying the Feldenkrais Method, going up and skiing down will be easier.
Ski mountaineering and deep-snow skiing are fascinating. Still, the flow of movements and the apportionment of strengths may cause problems.
Therefore, our ski mountaineering days start with a Feldenkrais training in order to prepare for the ski tour and to optimize the movements, e.g. you will learn how a flexible spinal column can promote effortlessness and elegance in deep-snow skiing or how free hip joints can make the ascent less exhausting. Combining both – effortless, easy movements and enthusiasm – unlimited deep-snow fun on powder snow and corn snow is guaranteed.
After the tour, we finish with a soothing Feldenkrais training in the exercise studio. In the course of the workshop, there are days with a focus on the optimization of movements and days on which we put our theoretical knowledge into practice when going up the mountain and skiing down again. Here, it is more important for us to enjoy the activity and to enjoy nature than to focus on the altitude difference.
