Ski! Alpine
„Skiing is so fascinating because it is an interplay with gravity. That’s what skiing has in common with dancing“, says Michael Widmer-Willam, Tänzer, choreographer, skiing instructor and head of the Ski! project.
The basis for skiing and dancing is a dynamic connection with the ground, a good sense of balance and awareness of our body.
Therefore our skiing lessons are based on the structure of dance training and start in the fitness studio. After warming up, which makes our body more flexible, we learn how to optimise our technique.
Exercises based on modern dancing* and holistic kinetics* help us to do so. Afterwards we go to the pistes to implement what we have learned. Thus after one week you will be able to coordinate all the elements of a turn – like the elements of a choreography. Every day ends with relaxation exercises to prepare the muscles for the next day.
The advantage: it’s easier and faster to learn skiing. You need less power and put less strain on your joints. We offer courses for all skill levels.
