In good hands

In the Bregenzerwald kindergartens and ski kindergartens of the ski and snow board schools, the little ones are perfectly cared for.

While the very little ones (from one year) are cared for by experienced staff, the older ones (from 3 or 4 years) already try their hands and feet at skiing.

Great fun for kids at the Diedamskopf mountain in Au-Schoppernau

The Au-Schoppernau ski and snowboard school, headed by Werner Geiger, was awarded the innovation prize by the Vorarlberg Tourismus in 2006 for its creative kids’ program.
Werner Geiger and his team exactly know how to make the kids enthusiastic about exercising in the snow. Thus, the kids get onto the slope with the greatest of ease. The 3- and 4-year-old kids start in the Kids’ Land at the base station. In the breaks, the kids are told fairy tales or a pony comes or Lars, the ice bear, impresses the little ones with his paraglider.
The older ones go skiing or snowboarding – they can try different pieces of sports equipment. Pole training is also part of the course. The kids also go the Breitenalpe Adventure Park where they can try tubing, skidooing, abseiling, throwing the javelin and barbecuing sausages in the wigwam.

Kids’ ski course:
Learning how to ski within 4 hours
4 hours of single lessons split over several days and kids from 3.5 years can ski on the training slope independently. This is guaranteed by the Schwarzenberg ski school which developed a special method. This method allows that kids immediately learn the basic techniques under the guidance of a certified ski instructor.
