Connection of the Mellau and Damüls ski areas

From December 2009, the Mellau and Damüls ski areas will be interconnected. In summer, the largest ski area of the Bregenzerwald region is being constructed.

The new mountain railway connects the existing ski areas of Mellau and Damüls. The new 8-person cabin ropeway takes skiers and snowboarders from Mellau-Rossstelle to the Hohe Wacht mountain station in Damüls within no time.

The interconnection of the Mellau and Damüls ski areas makes for varied and eventful ski days on beautiful north- and south-facing slopes in the largest ski area of the Bregenzerwald region.

The Damüls-Mellau interconnected ski area features 22 lifts and mountain railways as well as 93.1km of slopes. With the nearby Faschina ski area, the lift association offers even more than 100km of slopes.
