Fresh bread with farm butter and alpine cheese, a fluffy shredded pancake with sugar and raisins with eggs from free-range chickens, a delicious alpine pig schnitzel: Regional delicacies are now offered in selected mountain inns in the Bregenzerwald region. It is a fact that fresh and natural products taste better and short delivery distances are environmentally friendly.
A special menu provides information on which ingredients come from regional farms and manufactories – or even from the own garden, such as milk, butter and alpine cheese in different degrees of ripeness and from different pastures. Fresh goat cheese, meat from the alpine pig, bread, eggs, fruits, berries, salads and herbs are also part of the culinary adventures.
