Langenegg: Energy-Art Portal Hiking Tour
The village of Langenegg has been dedicating to sustainability, energy and climate protection for years.
The Energy Path makes energy understandable and experiencable. The path also features an artistically designed sculpture path. The trail starts off right next to the municipal office. First, it leads through the red portal to the sundial and through the wind and water portals with its energy plays. Right at Hotel Krone, the path crosses the country road and then – following the portal signs – to the Fabulous Facts portal. The forest place which looks like a little Colosseum provides a myriad of legends and traditions. Then the forest path leads to the Peace & Quiet portal with its barefoot loop made of natural materials. From here, the trail leads to the Weißach mouth on the haul trail/forest nature trail, following the white-red-white marking. The next stage leads through the beautiful Achtal valley to the art portals which were made of nine trees by nine artists. The path leads back from the station area to the municipal office street and to the village center.
