Out and about with animals

Travel through the wintry landscape on a husky-drawn sleigh – an adventure for the dog and budding musher alike.

Husky trail
Following the welcoming of the huskies, the sledges are divided up, the dogs are harnessed and the commands for the wolves are learned. After a short trial run, off you go into the terrain.

Trails: Körbersee, Jägeralpe, Hochtannberg (Warth-Schröcken); Gräsalp, Grunholz (Au-Schoppernau)
Duration: approx. 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the trail
Prerequisite: sporting ability of the mushers and a great love of dogs
Price: from € 260 for two persons

Hiking with llamas
The llama tours by Eva and Anton Vigl take you through the nature reserve of Langenegg.
Venue: Langenegg
Dates: by arrangement (depending on the weather and snow conditions)
Programme: tours for children and adults, walking time 1 – 2 hours, depending on the constitution of the hiker.
Total duration: 2 – 3 hours.

Winter hikes accompanied by your dog
The “Lex Lupo” team in the Bregenzerwald organises time alone for you and man’s best friend. Guided hikes, including by snowshoe, are offered in the winter programme. Feel free to ask for your own individualised tour. Guided snowshoe hikes in a group are offered on specific dates.
